Air Cosmo Gong 50″-125 cm is one of the Therapeutic 4 Elements series Gongs. It has a beautiful ethereal sound, midrange, solid. The nature of the sound very bright, crystalline, pleasant.The therapeutic 4 element series is an inspired SilverNickel Gong concept which we have been working with since 2013. Masterminded by Johannes Heimrath and Tom Soltron Czartoryski, each of these Gongs are crafted differently to produce a sound which evokes the feelings associated with its element. This is of course subjective.
All of our Gongs are handmade from silver nickel alloy and bear the traces and marks of the maker… We do not wish to produce gongs like in the cosmetic industry with perfect skin and a completely unnatural look. We do understand that people have an idea of perfection based on not seeing any trace of the biography of the piece, but to us this is simply an expression of our highly artificial world, the perfect surface of almost everything, giving the mere surface much more importance than the inside values, the traces of work, of labour, of pain and maturity. We wish to guide our players into the wide and vast dimensions behind the surface to realize that what matters in the Gong is the Sound… not the look!!

An infinite harmonic sounds, the harmonics raise, rise towards the sky, when I play it after 5 minutes the vibrations enter my mind and it clears up. Played with multiple types of mallet and rubber, you have different types of notes. The keynote of mine is an A0 – 27 hertz. Amazing. Powerful. It goes very well when played together with the Shemoon gong 36″, even when placed close together.
